Text editors are crucial to the MUNITY team. They have an incredible outsider insight on the reporters’ articles, which allows them to correct any mistakes before the publication of MUNITY online. Our articles are easy to read thanks to the text editors.
Yusef Al Saleh
Yusef attends Zurich International School in Switzerland as an 11th grader. He is half-American and half-Kuwaiti. Yusef loved attending THIMUN as a delegate last year. He wanted to participate again and decided to be part of the MUNITY Online press team.
He enjoys writing and already has experience as a text editor, so he loves his THIMUN role this year.
Ana Ibanescu
Ana is an 11th grade student from SHAPE American High School in Belgium, but she is originally from Romania. This year is Ana’s first time at THIMUN, but not her first journalistic experience, as she is the Editor-in-Chief of her school’s newspaper, Spartan International. With this experience, her teacher encouraged her to apply for a MUNITY Online position, as they knew it would be a good opportunity for her. Being a part of the press team gives students the option to get to know the conference without being in the middle of all the chaotic committees.
Audrey Blackwood
Audrey is a 12th grade student at SHAPE American High school in Belgium, but she is originally from America. She doesn’t claim a state in the US as her home because she has been moving around every 2 to 3 years since she was a kid. This is Audrey’s first time attending any MUN conference. Audrey takes part in a journalism class at school, and she really enjoys editing pieces of writing.
