Who are the people behind the Instagram posts and reels? Here’s an introduction to the social media team!
Billy Williams
Billy is in sixth form, or 12th grade, at St. Andrews College in Dublin, Ireland where he was born and raised. This is Billy’s second time being an illustrator for the MUNITY Press team, as well as handling social media. Billy is the host of the Instagram talk show “Between Two Exit Signs” He believes his role is a little more diverse and allows his skills to shine.
Onat Ayarman
Onat is an 11th grader at the American College Institute in Izmir, Turkey, where he was born and raised. This is Onat’s second time on the Press team at a MUN conference. He has produced the “Between Two Exit signs” Instagram series, featuring various delegates from the conference. Outside of MUN, he uses his self-taught skills to be involved in multiple clubs that focus on video creation.
Vedika Shah
Vedika is an 11th grader at Dhirubhai Ambani International School, in Mumbai, India, where she was born and raised. Vedika has always been involved with the Art and Design department at her school’s MUN conference, working in layout design and social media. At THIMUN, she hopes to leverage the social media content and gain increased exposure for her work.
Drishti Agarwal
Drishti is an 11th grader at Dhirubhai Ambani International School, in Mumbai, India, where she was born and raised. Hoping to pursue journalism as a career, she joined THIMUN this year as “it is THE place to practice and gain experience”, with a team of inspiring journalists. Drishti works in layout and social media, being involved with the “4 Things to do in The Hague” article, and creating several reels for the @officialthimun Instagram. Despite experience as a delegate at MUN, she found herself more connected with Press, working in digital outreach and layout at her school’s MUN conference.
Fiene Klemmer
From Berlin, Germany, Fiene is a 12th grader at the American School of Jeddah, in Saudi Arabia. Fiene has produced various works for MUNITY, including the “Peace, Law, and Justice: The Importance of Building a Foundation for a Progressive World” article and social media content. Using her creativity and personal social media experience, she has helped devise strategies to increase audience engagement.
Hamzah Johar
Hamzah is a 12th grader at the American International School of Jeddah, in Saudi Arabia. Bringing his social media and content ideas to MUNITY, Hamzah works in the background of the social media team, helping with the development and production of posts and reels.
Natalia “Apollo” Grzyb
Originally from Poland, Apollo is a 12th grader at SHAPE International High School in Mons, Belgium. THIMUN 2024 is their first conference, and in taking the layout and illustrative role, they have illustrated multiple cartoons and graphics displayed on the screens around the World Forum. Avantika Kampani
Avantika is an 11th grader at Dhirubhai Ambani International School in Mumbai, India. With a wide skill set in photography and different digital programs such as Procreate, Canva, and Photoshop, she has designed multiple social media posts, including movie posters and collages for articles. Her interest in foreign affairs allows her to effectively encapsulate the engaging atmosphere of debate at THIMUN 2024.
