Signing Off Together, MUNITY

As the gavel signals the end of the conference and the people who made up THIMUN 2026 travel home, we would like to thank you all on behalf of the Press and Communications Team for your incredible efforts. Having spent the last week interacting with you all and getting to know you, we have been capturing the stories in every room and hallway, every speech and statement. For a final goodbye to this year’s THIMUN, the MUNITY Team has included a short story of the experience of each member of our Team! Thank you again for trusting us with your stories and for giving us stories worth telling.

Nothing could’ve prepared me for the amount of memories I would make with the most amazing group of people this year in the Press Team. In just a span of 5 days, the Press room and the people inside it felt like home. My experience at THIMUN has been unforgettable.

In my life to this point, I have never had the chance to sit in a room with such talented and special people until now. My experience here at THIMUN was one to remember, and if I had the chance to experience this week again, then I would be silly not to accept!

THIMUN’26 will forever be a memory I will never forget. I hope to keep on meeting new people, creating new bonds and seeing new perspectives!

I had so much fun at THIMUN! It was a great experience and I got to meet so many great people. I’ll forever miss it. Thank you.

I am very grateful to say that my last conference was here at THIMUN, where I had an amazing experience and for the people I was able to share it with.

I had an amazing time at THIMUN. It was a great experience, and I met so many new and inspiring people. This experience allowed me to realize that trying new things allow you to make memories that will forever stay with you.

THIMUN 26 was an amazing experience! I am incredibly thankful that my last conference was such a memorable one.

THIMUN 2026 was a week that will forever be a memorable experience for me as part of the Press Team. I want to show immense gratitude to every special person I met and connected with along the way.

I have done summer camp and college programs etc, but I never knew that it was possible to get as close to a group as I did in these 5 days. I am not a particularly emotional person, but I have a hard time keeping it together when I think that I will likely never be in this space or see these incredible people ever again.

Coming in every morning to THIMUN was always something to look forward to. I had an incredible time. I met so many people, and the friends I made in the press team are people who are all so different and I wouldn’t have met them without THIMUN. I will never forget this week.

Walking into our Monday pre-conference meeting was daunting. I quickly realised however I was working with an amazing group! I’m so grateful to everyone for making my time at THIMUN as amazing as it was! A truly unforgettable week!

Walking into the press room for the first time on Monday was terrifying—by Friday it was natural. I never imagined that I’d get the opportunity to work alongside such talented and dedicated people. Thank you for making this THIMUN truly memorable!

Coming into THIMUN, I was honestly nervous and intimidated. I never could have anticipated how dear my friends in the P&C team would become in just five days, nor how hard the inevitable goodbyes would be. My final MUN conference at THIMUN26 was an unforgettable experience, filled with incredible people and cherished memories that will make me smile for years to come.
